This is my cross stitch tree--It is a new one this year because I used my "regular" cross stitch tree for a special tree for my husband that I will show in a later post. SO, I bought this tall, skinny flocked tree that I really like! All my cross stitch ornaments are on here. I added some cute little apple ornaments to fill in spaces and add color. I am pleased with it! Here are various photos~
(You will notice in the background, my collection of crucifixes. This is an ongoing collection. I have them from all over the world--places I've visited as well as some brought to me from friends.)
The rest are just lovely, fun things! I mix everything up! I have cute, primitive, elegant--all of it! I use it all together! I have Prairie Schoolers--several--but not a Santa!! I love all of them! I am making a pledge to stitch a Santa this year! The little quilt at the top right is so cute--I have three of those! I especially like the little house on the left. I added a tiny house ornament on it by the button--cute!! You also see my beautiful, gorgeous gift from Andrea above--Glad Tidings!
Merry Christmas!
Frances

Your new tree is so beautifully decorated Frances ... & I like how you have all the crucifixes displayed on the wall behind it, reminding everyone what Christmas is really all about : ) My favorite ornaments are the Mary Beale ones. I would love to stitch them & one of my quests for the coming year will be for those patterns : ) I'm looking forward to seeing the special tree for your husband. I wish you & your family a very happy & blessed Christmas & much happiness in the new year!
I love your cross stitch tree. If ever I get away from the massive projects I tend to start I would love to have one like that!
Beautiful. I like the idea that they are dated on the back. It is something I should have thought of along time ago. x
