Some weeks are better than others...

I am so behind in the stitching department, but I'm getting back to it now.
I had my kidney stone zapping last week--never a fun thing.  But this will, hopefully, get that under control and over with!!!  Cross your fingers!
One other thing that happened last week is that I lost my precious, sweet kitty Violetta.  I really thought she was doing better and getting well.  I even posted about it earlier.  But she was much sicker than we thought and just couldn't get well.  She had to go to an emergency vet, but they were so lovely and kind.  I really hate that this happened, but we certainly did everything we could for her.  She is now at peace and not in any discomfort. She is buried in our back yard, beside my cat that we lost 10 years ago.  He was a sweetie, too, and we had him for 18 1/2 years!  They are now there together.  It's so hard to let them go, but they sure do bring a lot of pleasure while you have them!
I'm sorry to be such a downer today...as I said above, some weeks are better than others!

Violetta, playing with her toys.

Thanks for visiting and please come again soon....things will be more pleasant then!

Frances: I am so sorry for your loss, our furry friends are really a part of our families, when it is time for them to go its like losing a child.

Blessings to you.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your beautiful black kitty, Frances... I lost my all black cat, Shadow, six years ago and I still get tears in my eyes when I think about him...

Hope the coming week brings happier days.
